If I am Talking to a ''Case Manager'' Instead of a Lawyer, Did I Hire the Wrong Law Firm?
As personal injury lawyers with over two decades of experience helping accident victims and their families recover compensation, we take pride in providing direct communication with our attorneys as clients go through the claims process. Too many self-proclaimed "great personal injury lawyers" are just facades and have people not licensed to practice law providing the day to day communications to their clients. This trend has gotten worse in the past few years. Many firms hire so-called "Case Managers" to do the initial intake, file claims, and provide "legal advice" to their clients as they go through the process. If you hired a lawyer thinking that you would actually be able to talk to that lawyer or another attorney in their office and, instead, your only communications have come from a "Case Manager" or some other staff person, you hired the wrong personal injury firm! While our office does have staff and they do communicate with clients on some day to day things, the majority of our communication is done by a person licensed by the State of California to practice law. This requires years of higher education, passing a very rigorous bar examination, and maintaining continuing education credits as required by the State Bar of California. Furthermore, all of our lawyers have decades of experience and haven't been just hired fresh out of law school. We believe this is the only way to truly provide proper representation to accident victims on personal injury claims. We vow to always make our lawyers accessible to clients and to communicate regularly with these clients about the progress of their claim.
