Malfeasance: Conduct which is unlawful.
Malpractice: A suit that is brought against a professional person for injuries or losses that were caused as a direct result of that professional’s negligence.
Material Evidence: Physical evidence that is considered relevant to the facts of a case.
Moral Turpitude: Behavior that is opposes honest morals and ethics.
Motion: A request that is formally presented to the court.
Multiplicity of Actions: Repetitive attempts to impose litigation.

Negligence: The failure to perform an action in a manner that displays a level of care or caution which a cautious person would observe.
Nolle Prosequi: In a civil or criminal case, it is a formal record declaring that the case will not be carried out by the courts.

Of Counsel: A supporting legal counsel that acts in the capacity as an aid in the preparation and or the management of a case yet, is not the principal attorney in the case.
Opinion Evidence: When a witness is qualified as an expert witness in the case that witness may be allowed to provide an opinion in a matter which is normally not permitted by a witness.
Ordinance: A specific law that has been written by the legislative body of a local, state or federal jurisdiction.
Original Jurisdiction: The presiding court in a legal matter.
